POS 3000 is a fully integrated Windows-based Point-Of-Sale (POS) and business automation software product. It is designed and targeted for your ever increasing business needs.
POS 3000 offers a user-friendly interface, easy-to-use POS functions and many advanced reporting features.
These features enable users to closely monitor inventory, customer and vendor activities, sales performance trends, warranty tracking, repair service tracking, and more. Pos 3000 Business Automation System is the ideal partner, helping you raise your productivity and increase your profitability.
Features:
POS 3000 offers the necessary features as a Point-Of-Sales system, such as creating and processing purchase orders, purchase receipts, sales orders, sales invoices, and inventory maintenance. In addition, a quick sales feature is provided to simplify the sales procedure to complete the sales order and invoice in one step. The system is fully integrated with the bar-code system that a user may either enter the bar-code manually or through a bar-code scanner.
Since POS 3000 runs on Windows, users can concurrently execute other windows-based programs and allows users to select any connected printer supported by MS Windows.
The development of POS 3000 employs leading-edge development tools, including client/server based database technology by SyBase.
Database:
POS 3000 is also a powerful user, customer and vendor database, providing detailed information on your users, customers, and vendors.
The key information areas for the customer and vendor databases are: Company information, sales/purchase summaries, and the amount of credit offered. The user database provides unlimited security levels giving different access privilege for different users.
Transactions:
Transactions are a breeze.
Pos 3000 is designed with many more necessary features than any other business software. Standard options for Pos 3000 include: Purchase orders/receipts, sales orders/invoices, on-demand sales payment (cashier style), multiple currency, partial and over payments, quotations, real-time updating of inventory, and preset discount periods.
Inventory:
Pos 3000 provides flexible and enhanced inventory control and edit functionality. It allows users to easily search, add, modify, and delete inventory items.
To search for any inventory item, users may use either the item code or UPC code as the searching key. If users do not know the item code or UPC code, the users may load a list of inventory items to select from.
Each inventory item contains description, pricing, current stock, user commission rates, special sales discount (with start and end dates), sales discount, and purchase discount information.
Each user may have preferences on inventory searching key, discount display, sales printout format and pole display setting. This user control feature allows users to configure and save their own user specific preferences.
Pos 3000 can also handle serialized items without a problem. With this feature you can keep track of warranty items. As an option, Pos 3000's inventory features can be extended with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) module. This module makes it easy to keep record of where and when the product was purchased from and sold to.
Reporting:
Pos 3000 offers many reporting functions to provide detailed information for accounting entries. These reports may also be used to analyze the performance of your business. For example, you can easily identify the inventory items below their minimum quantity and be prepared to re-order those items.
Security:
Security management is a critical function of WinPos 3000. It is the administrator's desire to have a secure and easy to manage system. Pos 3000 fulfills the administrator's desire by offering single-screen security access control.

Remote Access:
For sales people that are constantly on the go, or for telecommuters, WinPos 3000 is the remote solution for you.
By using remote access tools like Dial-up networking, RAS, or PC Anywhere, sales people and telecommuters can truly access Pos 3000 remotely to complete the sale. Unlike other accounting and POS packages, inventory is not updated on the fly.
Pos 3000 utilizes real time inventory updating. No more guessing at inventory figures means that your sales team will become more efficient in completing the sale.
